  1. 2.5.0latestMachinaWards 2.5.0 — Name Your Ward by Clicking Itlast week
    - Rename from anywhere. Run /ward rename <name>, then right-click the ward block you own within 60 seconds. /ward rename cancel stops the selection. The Name Tag button in the ward menu still lets you rename through chat. - Colors carry through alerts. Names accept & colors and &#RRGGBB hex colors. Visitor entry warnings, member notifications, and Ward Intelligence alerts show the custom name when set, or the ward's short ID when unnamed. - Your ward ID stays put. Renaming leaves the permanent ID, ownership, members, and protection intact. Names must have 1–32 visible characters, no spaces, and be unique across the server; color-only names are refused. Existing wards and database files need no migration.

  2. 2.4.2MachinaWards 2.4.2 — Configurable Radius Preview3 weeks ago
    - Choose how long Show Radius lasts. The Show Radius button outlines a ward's boundary with particles, and that outline used to disappear after a fixed 10 seconds. Set radius_display.duration_seconds in config.yml to keep it up for anywhere from 1 to 600 seconds; a value outside that range is clamped to it. - No restart needed. The time is read on every click, so /ward reload applies a new value at once. The button's description and the chat message both show the time you set. - Nothing to migrate. A config.yml without the new key keeps the 10-second outline. Wards, members, the database and commands are unchanged. Drop the new jar in and restart. - Boot-verified at both ends of the range: Paper 1.21.8 (the compatibility floor) and Paper 26.2 (Java 25), each a clean enable with zero plugin errors.

  3. 2.4.1MachinaWards 2.4.1 — Liquids and Pistons Inside Your Ward3 weeks ago
    - Water and lava flow inside your own ward. Every flow into a warded block used to be cancelled, so a bucket of water poured inside your own ward sat there as one still block. Liquid placed by the owner or a member now spreads normally inside the ward. Flow from outside the ward, or from another owner's ward, still stops at the edge. - Pistons work inside your own ward. A piston standing in a ward pushes and pulls blocks within it, and out of it into unclaimed land, so piston doors and farms work for the people who built them. A piston outside the ward, or in another owner's ward, still cannot move, push into or pull from warded blocks. - Dispensers can't pour in from outside. Now that liquid spreads inside a ward, a dispenser outside a ward can no longer place or scoop water, lava, powder snow or a mob bucket on the ward's side. This sits under the existing protection.fluid_flow switch. - Your wards count as one claim. Two wards with the same owner are treated as one claim for liquids and pistons, so a build that spans both behaves as one. - No config, data or command changes. Your wards, members, database and config carry over. Drop the new jar in and restart. - Boot-verified at both ends of the range: Paper 1.21.8 (the compatibility floor) and Paper 26.2 (Java 25), each a clean enable with zero plugin errors.

  4. 2.4.0MachinaWards 2.4.0 — Hardened MenusSep 24, 2026
    - Fixed a ward duplication exploit in the shop. With /ward shop open, clicking a stack of ward items in your own inventory was treated as buying that item, and the shop handed back a copy of the whole stack for one price. Ward items stack, so the stack doubled each time. The shop now only accepts clicks on its own slots, every purchase gives exactly one freshly made ward, and the ward is only handed over once the economy confirms the payment went through. Servers running the shop should update. - Clearer ward block controls. Left-click mines the ward block like any other block (owners can break their own ward in survival), right-click opens the menu, and pickup is sneak+right-click twice. The pickup prompt now says exactly that. - Every menu button explains itself. Each button describes what it does, shows its current state, and says what a click will do. The PVP and Mob Damage flags keep their own icons and glow when on, instead of turning into a barrier. - Reworked ward menu. A header at the top shows the ward's tier, radius, members, location, and ID, and the menu title names the ward. The duplicate Add Member button is gone from the main menu; adding members lives on the Members screen, where the button grays out when the ward is full. - Two-click confirms that work on Bedrock. Remove Member and Clear Logs now take two clicks within the pickup confirm window (pickup.confirm_ms) instead of a shift-click, so Geyser/Bedrock players can use them. - Friendlier chat prompts. Rename, Entry Message, and Add Member accept cancel and expire after 60 seconds. A rejected name keeps the prompt open so you can try again. - Ward name rules. Names are 1–32 characters, no spaces, and unique across the server. Color codes are allowed and kept for display; /ward tp <name> and the other name lookups ignore colors. Re-adding an existing member, or the owner, is refused. - More useful shop. Each ward shows its formatted price, member limit, and feature count, plus a red line when you can't afford it. A bought ward now stacks with a crafted one. - Lighter on the server. History and View Logs close the menu first and read the database off the main thread. - Show Radius is private. The boundary particles are shown only to the player who clicked, and clicking again restarts them. - Tidier Ward Intelligence. The menu is now 36 slots, and Clear Logs sits apart from View Logs so a stray click can't reach it. - No clashes with other plugins. MachinaWards now recognizes its own menus directly instead of by their title, so another plugin's menu with the same title is no longer affected. - Menu sounds. New sounds.menu_click, sounds.menu_success, and sounds.menu_error keys (set to "" to disable). Existing configs need no edits: missing keys fall back to the defaults. - Boot-verified at both ends of the range: Paper 1.21.8 (the compatibility floor) and Paper 26.2 (Java 25), each a clean enable with zero errors. Your wards, members, database, and config carry over — drop the new jar in and restart.

  5. 2.3.1MachinaWards 2.3.1 — Verified on Minecraft 26.2Aug 30, 2026
    - Confirmed working on Minecraft 26.2. Paper 26.2 ships Adventure 5, which removed a batch of long-deprecated chat API — the change that breaks a lot of older plugins on 26.2. MachinaWards is not one of them: the full Adventure surface it uses was audited against the removal list and needed no changes. - Proven, not assumed. Every Adventure call site — the /ward transfer [ACCEPT]/[DECLINE] buttons, the colored titles and action bars, and the &/&#RRGGBB color parsing — was executed directly against the Adventure 5 libraries Paper 26.2 bundles. Everything linked and rendered correctly, so there are no hidden runtime errors waiting on a command you rarely run. - Boot-verified at both ends of the range: Paper 26.2 (Java 25) and Paper 1.21.8 (the compatibility floor), each a clean enable with zero errors. - No functional changes. Your wards, members, database, and config carry over untouched — drop the new jar in and restart. - Housekeeping: corrected the version metadata on the old v2.0.1 download, which incorrectly listed Minecraft 1.16–1.20 and the Bukkit/Spigot loaders. The v2.x line has always been Paper/Purpur 1.21+; Spigot users still need v1.9.1.

  6. 2.3.0MachinaWards 2.3.0 — Quality of LifeJul 17, 2026
New commands - /ward who — see who owns the ward you're standing in and what you're allowed to do there. - /ward list [page] — paginated ward list (8 per page, oldest first). - /ward admin cleanup <days> — preview, then confirm-delete wards of long-offline owners. The scan runs off the main thread; owners who are online or have no last-seen record are always kept. Transfer confirmation - /ward transfer now sends an offer the recipient must accept via clickable [ACCEPT] / [DECLINE] chat buttons (or /ward accept / /ward decline). - Offers expire after 60 seconds (transfer.request_timeout_seconds), cannot silently replace someone else's pending offer, and the accept button is bound to the specific ward — a stale click can never accept the wrong offer. - The recipient's ward limit is enforced at both offer and accept time. Admin transfers remain instant and still work for offline recipients. Improvements - Admin commands (/ward admin list|delete|cleanup|stats|migrate) now work from console and RCON. - Player-name lookups (addmember, removemember, transfer, GUI Add Member) check the local usercache first and only fall back to a full profile lookup on a cache miss; names that never joined the server are rejected cleanly. One jar for Paper/Purpur 1.21 through 26.2 (api-version: 1.21). Plain Spigot users: stay on v1.9.1.

  7. 2.2.0MachinaWards 2.2.0 — Universal 1.21 → 26.xJul 11, 2026
    v2.2.0 — one jar for every Paper/Purpur server from 1.21 to 26.2
    - Now compiled against the 1.21 API floor (api-version: 1.21), so a single jar loads everywhere from Minecraft 1.21 through 26.2 — newer servers stay backward compatible. - Verified by booting on Paper 1.21.1, Purpur 1.21.11, Paper 26.1.2, Purpur 26.1.2, and Paper 26.2. - Hardened sound resolution for early-1.21 servers (registry lookup falls back safely where Registry.SOUNDS is unavailable). - Includes the v2.1.1 fix: colored titles & action bars build proper Adventure components (& and &#RRGGBB hex). - Requires Paper or Purpur (uses the server-bundled Adventure API). Plain Spigot users: use v1.9.1. - Java requirement follows vanilla: Java 21+ on 1.21.x servers, Java 25+ on 26.1+ servers.

  8. 2.1.1MachinaWards 2.1.1Jul 11, 2026
    v2.1.1
    - Minecraft 26.1 support — compiled against the 26.1.2 API (api-version: 26.1); verified end-to-end on Paper 26.1.2 and Purpur 26.1.2 (Java 25 servers). - Fixed colored titles & action bars — entry alerts and placement titles now build proper Adventure components: legacy & codes and &#RRGGBB hex colors are parsed into real styles instead of raw formatting codes. - Internal cleanup: explosion protection uses the standard Bukkit events on all platforms. - Note for 1.21.x servers: stay on v1.9.1 — the v2.x line targets Minecraft 26.1+.
