This is my first plugin, so if you a have any suggestions or find any bugs. Please let me know, I'm always down for some constructive criticism.
WarpSigns is based on a Skript that was written by an Owner of a server I was on. (Thank you Ekzim for everything <3)
Signs:
There are 5 types of signs:
- Home - A player's home
- Creation: Placing a sign with the 'home' word in square brackets
- Usage: Right clicking teleports the player to spawn
- Spawn - Well spawn, kinda self explanatory lmao
- Creation: Default is set to the world's spawn, but this can be set through admin commands or by an admin creating a sign with the 'spawn' word in square brackets
- Usage: Right clicking teleports the player to their set home if there is one
- Warp - Non-player warp
- Creation: Placing a sign with the 'warp' word in square brackets
- Usage: None, there is no current action for right clicking this type of sign. If you can think of one, please let me know and I can add this
- Warp2 - Teleport to a warp
- Creation: Placing a sign with the 'warp2' word in square brackets and the warp's name on the second line
- Usage: Right clicking teleports the player to the set warp if there one
- Warp2Player - Teleports to a player's home
- Creation: Placing a sign with the 'warp2player' word in square brackets and the player's name on the second line
- Usage: Right clicking teleports the player to the selected player's home sign if there one
Upon placing any sign that creates a location, you will be given 10 seconds to get into the location you would like the players to be teleported to and in which direction they will be facing
Community Centre:
One of the features of the skript I based this on was to have a Community Centre(CC). Where each player had a 'mailbox' which was a chest and a teleport to their home.
Each player could select where their 'mailbox' was by placing a 'warp2player' sign that automatically added their name to it
But they could only do this once inside a set area
So in the config file there is a CCRadius option, the default is -1 which means this feature is off
But if the value is set to 250, if the player tries to create a 'warp2player' sign and does not have the create permission. They must be within 250 blocks from either the world spawn or the set spawn in the config. They must also not have already placed a 'warp2player' sign for this to work as each player is only allowed to create one warp2player sign with the CCRadius enabled
Commands:
- /warpsigns/ws get
- Gets cords for warp/home/spawn locations
- /warpsigns/ws set
- Sets cords for warp/home/spawn locations
- /warpsigns/ws reload
- Reloads the config file
Permissions:
- melvin.warpsigns.admin
- Gives permission for everything and allows admin messages to be seen
- melvin.warpsigns.home
- Gives permission to create a home
- melvin.warpsigns.use
- Gives permission to use signs
- melvin.warpsigns.set
- Gives permission to the set command
- melvin.warpsigns.get
- Gives permission to the set command
- melvin.warpsigns.create
- Gives permission to create warp signs
- melvin.warpsigns.destory
- Gives permission to destroy signs regardless of who created them
Config:
I tried to make the plugins as customisation as possible
- CCRadius - Enabled/Disabled this feature and sets the radius
- Spawn - Stores spawn sign and spawn point location. if null, uses world spawn
- Text - Here you can set what messages you get for each possible reply
- Signs - You can select what key words are needed for the signs here and what colours are used on the signs. Keep in mind that the colours used must be registered bukkit colours
- Command Colours - You can selected the colours used for each command reply, And again the colours used must be registered bukkit colours
- Messages: Here you can set what text is replied for each possible message the plugin will send. I added this feature so the plugin can be set for any language
- Players - Here is where we store the location information for each player's home base
- Warps - Here is where we store the location information for each warp location
