Yet Another Clear Chat (ClearChat for short) is my take on a chat clearing plugin. If you haven't used or heard of this kind of plugin before, the concept is simple: a player says something inappropriate in chat - server IP, swear word, etc. The player has been dealt with by staff, but there's now an inappropriate message in chat until it gets pushed up off the backlog.

That's where ClearChat comes in. A staff member runs the command, and it fills players' chats with empty messages, effectively clearing the chat and getting rid of the offending message.

Commands

- /clearchat - Clears the chat by sending a bunch of empty lines to each player (unless they have clearchat.immune). Also sends a message after the clear, varying based on status of clearchat.privileged permission.

Permissions

- clearchat.clear: Allows the player to clear chat
- clearchat.immune: Makes the player immune to clear chats (it only shows the message, no empty lines.)
- clearchat.privileged: Enables showing the player a separate "privileged" message instead of the normal one. Can be used, for example, to show the name of the staff member who cleared it.

Planned Features

- [ ] Optional clearchat voting, where players could have a "clearchat.vote" permission which allows them to vote, and if an amount (specified in the config) of votes is reached, a clearchat occurs
