ZSJoin - Customizable unique player join and quit messages!
1.3Let your players customize their join and quit messages!
ZSJoins - Custom join and quit messages for everyone!
How to use ZSJoin?
With ZSJoin your players are able to determine what is announced while joining or leaving your server.
Commands:
/zsj set join "My own join message here!"
/zsj set quit "My custom quit message here!"
/zsj set join playername "Message"
/zsj set quit playername "Message"
(zsjoin.set.others permission required)
Note: The "" are required around the message!
You can use colorcodes with & inside Minecraft and with § inside the .yml!
You can also use <player> instead of write out you name.
With permissions set up properly, every player can use this command and have their very own join and quit message!
permissions:
zsjoin.*:
description: Gives access to basic ZSJoin commands
default: false
children:
zsjoin.set: true
zsjoin.help: true
zsjoin.set:
description: Allow players to set a custom join and quit message
default: op
children:
zsjoin.help: true
zsjoin.help:
description: Gives access to the help command
default: false
zsjoin.set.others:
description: Allows you to change join and quit messages from others
default: op
children:
zsjoin.set: true
zsjoin.admin:
description: Gives access to ZSJoin admin commands
default: op
children:
zsjoin.set.others: true
zsjoin.help: true
zsjoin.set: true
By default, players can't change their messages. They need the zsjoin.set permission.
You can change the motd (shown to joining players) and both default join and quit messages (for players without custom messages) inside the config.yml
# ZSJoin by Marc Jansen alias Zahlenspiel
# motd: enable or disable # default is true
# motd-text: Message of the day! # visible for joining players
# msg-join: join message # visible if no join is set - visible for all
# msg-quit: quit message # visible if no quit is set - visible for all
motd: true
motd-text: "Running ZSJoin!"
msg-join: "<player> joined the server."
msg-quit: "<player> left the server."
You can change messages by hand inside the playerSettings.yml
Zahlenspiel:
join: §6Example join message with color!
quit: Zahlenspiel quits the game.
ExamplePlayer:
join: <player> is here!
quit: <player> leaves the stage.
Note: the playerSettings.yml gets updated automatically when a player uses the set command.
