Developer Note: Hi everyone! I would like to apologize for there being no updates to the plugin for the last 6 months. School and work have taken up more time than expected, but going forward, I will have more time to work on the project. In the meantime, enjoy this update. Features · Updated to Minecraft 1.12.2 (Tested from 1.12.2 to 1.10) · Added default chat formatting. · Default chat colors and formats can be combined. · Added an in-game changelog. · Rewrote how the plugin handles "resets". If a player resets their color or format, their name will now be removed from the data file automatically. · Rewrote how the plugin handles listening for chat messages. This should be more efficient for when players don't have any colors or formats. · Made some changes to commands. · Made minor modifications to some messages. Commands · /dcc list colors/formats - View available chat options. · /dcc format <format> - Change your default chat format. · /dcc changelog - View the latest changes to DCC. · IMPORTANT: When updating to this version, server admins must rename the file labeled “config.yml” to “data.yml” before running, as it has been moved in this version for future use. · IMPORTANT: Players will need both defaultchatcolor.chatcolor and defaultchatcolor.color.<colorname> to use /dcc color <colorname> in this version. · Added individual permissions by color. For example, defaultchatcolor.color.gold gives access to gold. · Added defaultchatcolor.color.* - Gives access to all colors. · Moved all commands to subcommands of /dcc. Changes · Removed message that prints in chat whenever a player joins, notifying them that the plugin is enabled. That was originally only meant to display for myself in testing, and I forgot to remove or change it for the original release.
