Spigot Update Templates | Chrome & FireFox Browser Extension

Allows you to create numerous templates for your update notes to avoid having to manually write it each and every time! Select default templates individually for all of your resources, update them on the go, load or delete them as you wish, and much more!

Personal Motivation
I was extremely tired of having to input my Discord image and add the invite link to the click action each and every time I posted an update. With Spigot Update Templates this process is 100% automated. By using the select feature I don't even have to press a button; the template is just there and ready to have the update content added!

Features

• Template Menu Button
  The extension adds a new control button to the existing editor menu. This button will bring up the Template Menu in which you can manage everything in regards to templates. Clicking it again will close the menu.
  

• Template Menu
  The template menu offers a variety of options for which you can use to create/manage your templates.
  
  • Create Templates
    Creating a template is very easy! Write the update message, choose a template name, fill it into the "Template name" input field, and click "Save". That's it! The template is now added to your templates list.
  • Load Templates
    Select a template from the "Templates:" list and click "load". The content of the selected template is now automatically set as the update message. Please note that this action overwrites any current content.
  • Update Templates
    Made a change to one of your templates? Simply select the template and press update. The templates content is then updated to the correct content.
  • Delete Templates
    Select the template you wish to delete and press delete. Please note that this is irreversible.
  • Select Default Templates
    This is an extremely useful feature! You can select one of your templates to be automatically loaded when you open the page for that particular resource! This works per resource i.e. you can select a template for resource x and another for resource y.
  • Response Box
    This box will give you some informative response on your actions in the menu i.e. inform you when something goes right or wrong etc.

• Version Suggestions
  A new drop-down menu is automatically added to the resource update page. This will automatically suggest logical versions for you to select.
  
  You'll have to follow a dotted versioning convention such as MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH. As long as the version is numbers separated by dots it will make suggestions for you.

• %version% placeholder
  You can use the %version% placeholder in your update templates and it will get dynamically replaced even after you select a version!
