Spigot Update Templates | Chrome & FireFox Browser Extension
1.5.0Save time by creating templates for your update notes.
1.5.0latest[1.5.0] Title default and improved placeholder!Jan 22, 2019 · Title Default | You can now set a default for your title. The default is global for all resources. If you do not have your own title default set Spigot Update Templates will use its own default which is: "[%version%] ". · %version% placeholder | The %version% placeholder now works in the update title for maximum customizability. Both suggested by @Mylogo and @Freeforever; thanks! 1.4.7[1.4.7] %version% placeholderJan 21, 2019 · %version% | You can now add %version% to your update text and that will automatically get replaced when the template is loaded. Versions are even dynamically replaced. E.g. you have version 1.5.6 selected and the %version% placeholder has been replaced with 1.5.6 if you then select 1.6.0 instead 1.5.6 is replaced with that! Suggested by @Mylogo; thanks 1.4.6[1.4.6] RestructuredJan 19, 2019 · Restructured | Changed up some of the code as the migration to include the Spigot Update Templates menu in both add resource and edit resource was done in a not so neat way. This has been addressed and the structure and design have been improved.1.4.5[1.4.5] Menu multiple places!Jan 15, 2019 · Menu | The Update Templates menu is now also available on the add new resource page and the edit resource page. If you have templates for new resources or use it for storing some content that could be needed on those pages it is now easily accessible! Suggested by @LMBishop1.4.4[1.4.4] Overwrite draft optionJan 14, 2019 · Overwrite Draft | Using the "built-in" save icon (the floppy disk) it is possible to save drafts. Spigot Update Templates would not take into account whether or not someone has saved a draft. If you had a default template it would be loaded and overwrite your draft. You could revert it with a simple ctrl+z but you'd have to know that. This version introduces a new option in the menu: By default, this is unchecked which means that if you have a draft it won't load your template. If you don't care about drafts you can check it and it will load your template regardless of any templates; simple as that.1.4.3[1.4.3] Title Prefix IntuitivenessJan 12, 2019 · Intuitiveness | The title prefix system has been improved with this update: · The version/prefix is now prepended if not written; even if you've already written something in the update title. · If you select the "Select Version" option in the versions list the prefix is then removed correctly instead of resulting in "[]". · The prefix removal will even check if you have a space written after the "]" and remove that as well if present. On the other hand, it won't incorrectly remove the first letter if not present.1.4.2[1.4.2] Title PrefixJan 8, 2019 · Title Prefix | I personally like prefixing my update titles with the version. This allows users to easily follow the version when browsing your updates. This update introduces just that: The update title will automatically change itself to the selected version even when you have something written in the field.1.4.1[1.4.1] Button Click AnimationJan 5, 2019 · Button Click Animation | As a last cosmetic update for the menu button, a button click animation has been added. This makes the button act almost identical to all of the other buttons.1.4.0[1.4.0] Hover animationDec 28, 2018 · Hover animation | The template menu button now has the same hover animation as the other buttons.1.3.0[1.3.0] Append and Prepend templates!Dec 19, 2018 · Append & Prepend | Two new UI buttons have been added to the template menu; append and prepend. These will allow you to add a template at the end of the current written content or at the beginning.1.2.1[1.2.1] FireFox Support!Dec 15, 2018 · FireFox | The extension is now available for FireFox browsers! Suggested by @mmuziek; thanks1.2.0[1.2.0] Version SuggestionsDec 13, 2018 · Version suggestions | This version introduces an awesome new feature; version suggestions. If you follow a conventional versioning pattern such as MAJOR.MINOR or MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH etc. you'll benefit from this update. In essence, if you follow an x.x.x.x.x etc. pattern this will work. A new drop-down menu has been added to the update menu: The suggestions are based on the current version. Example: The current version is 1.3.6 - the suggestions chosen are then: - 1.3.7 - 1.4.0 - 2.0.0 This'll work for any dotted versioning e.g. 1.65.2.45.7 would be: - 1.65.2.45.8 - 1.65.2.46.0 - 1.65.3.0.0 - 1.66.0.0.0 - 2.0.0.0.0 The version is auto-filled into the version string field.1.1.2[1.1.2] TitleDec 12, 2018 · Title | Simple update that changes the "Save New" title to "Create New" as that seemed more appropriate.1.1.1[1.1.1] Auto Open OptionDec 9, 2018 Changelog: · Auto Open | You can now select if the template menu should automatically open when you go to the "Post Resource Update" page. This is done in the extensions menu:1.0.0Dec 8, 2018
